When you book your reservation at Emil Bach House, you can look forward to a private, peaceful stay in a unique, extraordinary residence, one that will enchant you with its grace, intelligence and originality. While the home has been restored to be as faithful as possible to Wright’s original vision for the property, updates have been made to account for 21st century codes and standards of comfort. Emil Bach House is not a museum. It is today what it was built to be 100 years ago – a modern home enjoyed by modern people.

GUEST ROOMS

Emil Bach House sleeps up to 6 guests. The king & queen rooms are on the 2nd floor, each with a full-sized bathroom for your comfort. Bedrooms feature pillow-top mattresses and plush linens, promising a sound night’s sleep. The 2nd floor also houses the study, with a queen pull-out bed. Laundry room is also available to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

THE HEARTH

Morning and night, four seasons a year, this was designed as the center of the home, and it’s where you’ll find yourself pulled, whether for a game of cards with friends or a book at the end of the evening.

DINING SPACE & LIVING AREA

Filled with natural light, these areas are congregating spots for groups either at meal times, to plan the day’s itinerary or for some relaxation before bed.

OUTDOOR SPACES

Abundant outdoor spaces include two large porches on the house, as well as our Japanese tea house and expansive gardens — lovely, contemplative spaces perfect for relaxing any time of dayboth historic homes for family reunions, out-of-town guests, staycations, retreats, and more.

THE STUDY

Perfect as a quiet reading room or as a spare bedroom with a queen pull-out bed, this room offers privacy and its own balcony facing the setting sun.

THE KITCHEN

For those wishing to cook their own meals, Emil Bach House offers an updated kitchen which includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and coffee maker. Guests can also utilize cookware, flatware, and silverware for 6 people.
