CHICAGO – February 15, 2018 – Emil Bach House, a prairie style home designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright in 1915 and is now Illinois’s only Frank Lloyd Wright private vacation home and venue rental, has been featured in Buzzfeed’s latest Worth it Cities: Chicago͟ episode.

“Worth It Cities” is a spin-off of BuzzFeed’s popular series “Worth It,” in which host Steven Lim, along with his co-host Jen Ruggirello and camera person Annie Jeong, try out different Chicago experiences to determine which is the most “worth it” at varying price points. In this specific episode, the three view updated homes in the Chicagoland area that offer exceptional qualities. The episode made its debut Feb. 12 on Facebook and will appear soon on BuzzFeed’s YouTube Channel.

This is an excellent representation of the exceptional qualities the Emil Bach House has to offer to guests, says Wayde Cartwright, co-owner and innkeeper of Emil Bach House. We are very excited that viewers can get an exclusive look at this historic property and its remarkable upgrades. It’s always refreshing to hear the impression this home has on guests and viewers. We’re honored that BuzzFeed chose to feature the Emil Bach House in this episode.

The Emil Bach House is located one block from Lake Michigan in East Rogers Park, one of Chicago’s most fascinating and diverse neighborhoods. The first floor includes a large gathering space with an inviting fireplace, kitchen, screened in porch, dining room and lounge area. The second floor features a study and two guest rooms, each with a full-sized bathroom. The property also includes a luxurious Japanese inspired outdoor space, including the beautiful Japanese Tea House and Gardens.

Worth It hosts Steven and Jen anticipated the beauty of this home. They were left in awe of Emil Bach House’s historic ambiance and special amenities.

“I’ve never been more impressed by angles in my life, remarked Ruggirello as she toured the property.”

After touring all the properties in this episode, including one in Calumet and Bronzeville, on Chicago’s South Side, host Steve Lim enthusiastically said that the Emil Bach House was his favorite, and remarked every bit of the house had some sort of purpose. One of Frank Lloyd Wright most famous characteristic was his feeling that every building would service a purpose, and each detail would be carefully planned so that it supported that purpose.

The Emil Bach House holds up to 130 guests, including 25 guests inside the main house. The rental fees range from $1,495 for a five-hour interior event or $2,595 for a five-hour event utilizing the Japanese Tea House and Gardens. Emil Bach House is also offering special overnight rates for booking and staying anytime through March 31, 2018. The promotional rates are $495 per night for four guests or $595 per night for six guests, a savings of $1,000 per night.

The Emil Bach House was designated a Chicago Landmark on September 28, 1977 and on January 23, 1979, the house entered the National Register of Historic Places.  To book a stay or event at the Emil Bach House, visit https://emilbachhouse.com/, email https://stay@emilbachhouse.com or call 1-773-654-3959.
